NDHSAA and Forum Communications Company reach agreement on Tier I Television Contract

VALLEY CITY, N.D. – The North Dakota High School Activities Association Board of Directors has approved a contract with Forum Communications Company for television broadcast rights for NDHSAA’s Tier I events (Dakota Bowl Football State Championships, Boys & Girls State Hockey, Class B Girls Basketball State Tournament, Class B Boys Basketball State Tournament and the Class A Boys and Girls Basketball Tournament).

Contract approval was finalized at the NDHSAA Board of Directors meeting held October 5 in Valley City.

The five-year agreement covers NDHSAA’s Tier I television broadcasts through the 2022-23 school year. The NDHSAA and Forum Communications Company are currently in Year Five of a television contract that began in 2013-14.

State tournaments included in the NDHSAA’s Tier I television contact are some of the most anticipated sporting events in the state of North Dakota and NDHSAA Executive Director Matt Fetsch is enthusiastic about continuing the partnership with Forum Communications Company.
