  • Bismarck High defeated Fargo South 70-62 in the 2009 NDHSAA Class A girls basketball state championship game.

  • Mandan has won nine NDHSAA Class A girls basketball state championships (1995, 1999, 2000, 2003, 2004, 2005, 2006, 2007, 2008).

  • Bottineau defeated Langdon 47-37 in the 1999 NDHSAA Class B girls basketball state championship game.

  • Beach has won three NDHSAA Class B girls basketball state championships (1989, 1990, 2010).

  • The first NDHSAA-sponsored girls hockey state tournament was 2003.

  • Fargo North defeated the Bismarck Blizzard 2-1 in the 2009 NDHSAA girls hockey state championship game.

  • Carrington has won eight NDHSAA Class B wrestling team individual state titles (1987, 1988, 1991, 1992, 1994, 1995, 2015, 2016.

  • New England St. Mary’s won NDHSAA Class B wrestling team individual state championships in 1969 and 1970.

  • Dickinson High School has won the last three NDHSAA state gymnastics state championships (2016-18).

  • Robin Hubner of Dickinson High School won three-straight NDHSAA “all-around” individual gymnastics state championships (1974-1976).
