2018-19 ND Officials Association Hall of Fame Inductees announced

VALLEY CITY, N.D. – The North Dakota Officials Association (NDOA) announces the 49th induction class to the 2018-19 Hall of Fame as determined at its recent Board of Directors meeting. The inductees will be recognized and receive awards at various North Dakota High School Activities Association (NDHSAA) events during the 2018-19 school year. Inductees are:
Jim Ladbury - Dickinson
Jim Ladbury began officiating wrestling in 1978 as a college freshmen and is humbled to receive such an honor after officiating many high school and collegiate wrestling matches and tournaments throughout the years at the local, region, state and national levels. Ladbury said it has been an honor and a privilege to participate, officiate and watch young athletes grow and mature through the sport of wrestling. He also said it has been an honor to develop relationships with fellow officials he calls his friends and mentors. Ladbury and his wife Janel live in Dickinson. They have three children and three grandchildren – all residing in Dickinson. Jim would like to thank the NDOA for this honor and opportunity.
Randy Meyer - Minot
Randy Meyer has officiated high school and college wrestling for 40 years. During that time Randy officiated 30 state wrestling tournaments and 32 regional wrestling tournaments. During this time Randy also officiated hundreds of tournaments throughout the state of North Dakota. Also at this time Randy officiated numerous college duals and tournaments. Meyer officiated two national junior college wrestling tournaments and three NAIA college wrestling tournaments. Meyer is also a member of the North Dakota State College of Science (NDSCS) Athletic Hall of Fame.
Randy had the privilege of watching his three sons Lance, Mitchell and Brady wrestle. Lance is married to Veronica and they have two sons Gavin and Samuel and live in Minot. Mitchell is married to Kellie and they have two sons Declan and Elliot and live in Minot. Brady is living in Grand Forks North Dakota.
Randy and his wife Nancy reside in Minot and Randy has worked at Central Power Electric Co-op for 25 years. Randy would like to thank the North Dakota High School Activities Association, the North Dakota Officials Association, past and current officials, and wrestling fans for their support throughout the years.
Tammie Coleman – Belle Plaine, MN
Tammie Coleman officiated North Dakota High School Gymnastics for 25 years from 1979 to 2004. During that time she officiated several regional meets and 18 State Meets. She assisted in teaching several officiating clinics over the years for the North Dakota High School Activities Association. She is a member of the National High School Federation. Tammie and her husband Dick live in Belle Plaine, MN where she has continued to officiate for the Minnesota High School League, officiating several sectional meets and 12 State Meets. Tammie is the Director of Laketown Gymnastics Club in Waconia, MN. She has two daughters Erica and Heather and six grandchildren.
The NDOA has inducted 142 officials into its Hall of Fame since the inaugural class in 1965. Plaques commemorating all Hall of Fame members are housed in the North Dakota Athletic Hall of Fame, located inside the Jamestown Civic Center.
