Latest ND 9-man, Division A football polls released

VALLEY CITY, N.D. – The fifth 9-man division and fourth Division A North Dakota high school football polls were released Wednesday, September 19.

Thompson (5-0) retained the top spot in the 9-man poll voted on by members of the North Dakota Associated Press Sportscasters and Sportswriters Association (NDAPSSA). The Tommies received 10 first-place votes. New Salem-Glen Ullin (4-0) received six first-place votes to check in at No. 2. 2017 9-man runner up Shiloh Christian received one first-place vote and is ranked No. 3.

The fourth Division A poll of 2018 has defending state champion Hillsboro/Central Valley (4-0) in the No. 1 spot for the fourth straight week. The Burros received 12 first-place votes. Carrington (4-0) checked in at No. 2 with five first-place votes.
