- Brad Rinas, Committee Chair, will report to the Board on the following recommendations. Board action will be necessary.

- Increase the Class B Basketball Tournament reserved ticket allotment to 175 for qualifying teams
- Eliminate the Parade of Athletes at all state tournaments
- Tournament Committee Report
- Brad Rinas, Committee Chair, will present site recommendations for 2017-18 winter sports region tournaments and future Fine Arts state sites. Board action will be necessary.
- Media Committee Report
- Todd Bertsch, Committee Chair, will provide the Board with a Committee report.
- Realignment Committee Report
- Jeff Manley, Committee Chair, will present region placement recommendations for the following:
- Midway boys golf
- Midway girls golf
- Promotions and Programs Report
- Patti Stedman, Committee Chair, will provide the Board with a recommendation on a Distinguished Service Award nominee.
- Fine Arts Committee Report
- Mark Vollmer, Committee Chair, will provide the Board with a Committee report.
- Sawyer High School Request
- A request from Dr. Wayne Trottier, Sawyer Superintendent, regarding the closing of the district’s 7-12 grade building is attached. Board action is necessary.
- North Dakota Association of Secondary School Principals (NDASSP) Request
- A request from Jennifer Fremstad, NDASSP President, is attached. Board action is necessary.
- Seven-year Calendar
- Attached is the proposed calendar through 2023-24. The Board has previously approved the calendar dates through 2022-23.
- 2017-18 Meeting Dates
- Board action is necessary to change the March 16, 2018 NDHSAA Board of Directors meeting in Bismarck to March 22, 2018 in Valley City.
- **Mandaree High School Appeal (11:30 am audience)
- A letter from Mandaree High School Superintendent Carolyn Bluestone is attached. Mandaree is appealing the penalty set by the Executive Board for violation of Part II, Article III, Section VII of the NDHSAA Constitution related to sportsmanship at Association contests. Necessary information will be distributed at the meeting.
