  7. Executive Board Report
    1. Todd Olson, Executive Board Chair will report on committee actions.
  8. South Prairie HS Request (10:30 audience)
    1. Attached is a letter from Wayne Stanley, South Prairie Supt of Schools requesting the Board to place South Prairie in districts and regions for athletics and fine arts.  In addition a request to waive the transfer rule for those South Prairie students who were tuitioned out to other districts.  South Prairie will be a K-12 school beginning in 2014-15.
  9. Board Member Resignation
    1. Ben Auch had sent a letter earlier to each Board member indicating he would have to give up his Board seat on June 30, 2014.  I should have a response from the North Dakota School Boards Association by meeting time.
  10. Hardship Appeal (11:00 audience)
    1. Standing Rock Community High School has requested an appeal to a denied hardship application.  Necessary information will be distributed at the meeting.
  11. District Chair Recommendation        
    1. Meeting notes attached.  Items to vote on are included on the Athletic Review grid.
  12. Athletic Review
    1. Attached are minutes of winter/spring coach advisory meetings as well as a grid identifying those items requiring Board action. The grid also contains the recommendations of the Athletic Review Committee.
  13. Fine Arts Review
    1. Attached is a Fine Arts grid indicating advisory recommendations as well as recommendations from the Fine Arts Review Committee.
  14. Premiere Partnership Agreement  (1:00 audience)
    1. I will present the Board with a proposed Premiere Partnership Agreement Extension between NDHSAA and Farmers Union Insurance.  Board approval is necessary before the agreement can be final.
  15. Trophy & Awards Committee
    1. The trophy and awards committee will have a recommendation for Board consideration.
  16. Fine Arts Season Dates
    1. Kirsten Baesler has requested this item to be placed on the Board agenda for discussion purposes.
  17. Legal Services RFP
    1. There will be information in Board folders regarding a RFP for legal services, which is due to Gary Thune’s retirement on December 31, 2014.
  18. Constitution & By-Laws Committee Report
    1. Attached is the committee agenda concerning the following topics of discussion:
      1. Academic Eligibility
      2. Interpretation regarding e-cigarettes
        1. The staff has received numerous inquiries concerning the use of E-Cigarettes by student participants in NDHSAA activities.  There needs to be Board discussion and interpretation regarding this.  The staff has administratively ruled the use of E-Cigarettes as a violation, but it is not in print.  Board action is required before placing in the By-Laws as an interpretation.
  19. 2014-15 Technology Plan
    1. Brenda Schell will present the Board with a Technology Plan for the upcoming year.
  20. Finance Committee Report
    1. The Finance Committee will present a proposed budget for 2014-15.
  21. Region I Proposal
    1. Attached is a proposal from Region I regarding the establishment of a “Super Region”.
