Bismarck tops Fargo Davies in 2020 NDHSAA girls hockey state title game

FARGO – Bismarck’s unprecedented streak of consecutive NDHSAA girls hockey state championships continued Saturday, February 29.

The Blizzard (20-5-1) defeated Fargo Davies 2-0 in the 2020 NDHSAA girls hockey state title game at Scheels Arena and in doing so captured its sixth straight championship.

Bismarck got on the board eight minutes, 58 seconds into the game when Jayda Krikorian scored on a power play. Less than two minutes later Madison Brown added another goal for the Blizzard.

Davies entered the game undefeated. The Eagles were playing in the program’s first state championship game. Davies finishes the year 22-1-3.
