NDHSAA Board Synopsis: May 20 Meeting

The NDHSAA Board of Directors met on May 20, 2020 and unanimously approved the following clarification for school facility usage during the out-of-season coaching window of June 1-July 31, 2020:
Local school districts will determine the use and access to their facilities. Member schools will be responsible for enforcing current social distancing guidelines in accordance with the Department of Public Instruction North Dakota K-12 Smart Restart Guidance, as well as any local and/or state health department requirements.
All existing NDHSAA out-of-season coaching regulations remain in effect.
The NDHSAA Board of Directors approved online CPR/AED courses to be credited toward NDHSCA Coaching Permit requirements.
The NDHSAA Board requested the development of a Return to Play Committee that will include numerous statewide agencies. The Committee will be approved by the NDHSAA Board of Directors at their June 8, 2020 meeting.
