NDHSAA Board Synopsis - (November 30, 2023)

VALLEY CITY, N.D. – The North Dakota High School Activities Association Board of Directors met in person in Valley City on Thursday, November 30.

The following were agenda items were discussed or acted on:

• The Board approved an Executive Board Committee Report that included the approval of the NDHSAA General Assembly for the 2024-25 school year to be held in conjunction with the Spring NDIAAA Conference in April.

• The Board approved a Sportsmanship & Citizenship Committee Report that included an update on the development of a Public Service Announcement Video to be completed prior to 2024 NDHSAA Winter Tournaments. The Board also approved the creation of a Sportsmanship Grant Program for NDHSAA Member Schools, which will be finalized in January.

• The Board approved NDHSAA State Tournament site recommendations made by the Combined Tournament Committee for the 2030-31 school year. 7-Year NDHSAA Tournament Site Rotation

• The Board approved a Tournament Committee Report that included 2024 Fall sports region tournament site recommendations and 2024 Football Regions.

The next scheduled Board meeting is January 18 in Valley City
